Orange Police Department requesting help in locating Robbery Suspects

The Orange Police Department is investigating two different robberies with the same characteristics during the last two nights.

The first robbery occurred on Monday night around midnight at the Cypress Plaza Convenience Store located at intersection of 16th Street and Park Street . Three armed males entered the store and robbed the clerk leaving in an unknown direction. They got away with an undetermined amount of money.

The next night, Tuesday, Casa Ole Restaurant also located on 16th St. in Orange was robbed by two armed males around 7:30 p.m.

In both robberies the suspects were armed with long rifles or shotguns.

Anyone with information to these robberies is asked to contact the Orange Police Department at 409-883-1026. You can call EasTex Crime Stoppers at 409-724-TIPS and you don’t have to give your name.

If anyone sees suspicious activity in our area is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately. The suspects in both cases were wearing sweatshirts with hoods over their heads and dark clothing with some type of masks on their faces. These men were heavily armed and are very dangerous.
