On January 19th, Kayla Moore traveled to Bossier City Community College to tryout for the Cavalier softball team. She was offered a full scholarship and signed as an outfielder. “I have wanted this opportunity ever since I was little, and I am really fortunate to continue playing the sport I love,” said Moore, who has been playing softball since she was five.
In all four years of high school she lettered in varsity softball. Moore was awarded First Team All-district Outfielder in the spring of 2006, and Second Team All-district Honorable Mention in 2007. She has also been busy participating in ASA and AFA travel ball during the spring and fall.
