The Orange County Grand Jury met Wednesday,Feb. 20, 2008 and returned the following true bills of indictment. The allegations are as follows:
 
Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance:
 
Windy Dee Evans, 43, of Vidor. A woman was found in possession of cocaine and methamphetamine when Vidor Police officers were called to a disturbhance.
 
Waylon James Sealy, 34 of Orange. A man was found in possession of cocaine when a West Orange officer went to investigate suspicious activity.
 
Aran Wayne Meaux, 22 of Orange. A man was found in possession of methamphetamine following a traffic stop by the Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol.
 
Cason Austin Duke, 41, of Baton Rouge, Louisianna. A man was found in possession of ecstacy and methamphetamine following a traffic stop by the Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol.
 
Floyd Wallace, 21, of Orange. A man was found in possession of cocaine when an Orange police officer went to investigate suspicious activity.
 
Dale VanGundy, 23, of Mauriceville. A man was found in possession of methamphetamine following a traffic stop by the Orange Police Department.
 
Dean Rae Guilliams, 50, of Orange. A woman was found in possession of cocaine following a traffic stop by the Orange Police Department.
 
Suzanna Michelle Cunningham, 23, of Orange. A woman was found in possession of cocaine when Orange police officers were investigating a traffic accident.
 
Amy Renee Singleton, 26 of Orange. A woman was found in possession of illegal drugs when police arrested her for another offense
 
Felony Possession of Marijuana:
 
Gharri Nicholas Lawson, 27, of Jacksonville, Florida. A man was found in possession of a felony amount of marijuana following a traffic stop by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
 
DWI with Child Passenger:
 
Jason Dewayne Newsome, 27, of Orange. An intoxicated driver was involved in a traffic accident while he had a child in the vehicle with him.
 
Amy Renee Singleton, 26 or Orange. An intoxicated driver was arrested and she had a child in the vehicle with her.
 
Brenda Lee Chambers, 28 of Orange. An intoxicated driver drove into a ditch while she had several children in the vehicle with her.
 
Felony DWI:
 
Tony Lee Adams, 47, of Vidor. A man with at least two prior convictions of Driving While Intoxicated was arrested for the same offense.
 
Richard Bryan Sanford, 42, of Vidor.  A man with at least two prior convictions of Driving While Intoxicated was arrested for the same offense.
 
James Floyd Egulf, 51, of Vidor. A man with at least two prior convictions of Driving While Intoxicated was arrested for the same offense.
 
Unauthorized use of a vehicle:
 
Joseph Michael Martire, 20, of Vidor. A man stole a vehicle and then stole another one a few months later.
 
Ronald James Garlow, 17 of Orange. A man stole a pick-up truck from a local apartment complex.
 
Felony Deadly Conduct:
 
Angelica Chuba, 18, of Vidor. A woman fired a gun in the direction of a family member.
 
Tampering with Evidence:
 
Marvus Dwight Turner, 25 of Orange. A man concealed evidence from the police when he knew that an investigation was being conducted.
 
Burglary of a Building:
 
Robert Dale Johnson, 40, of Orange. A man broke into a storage building at a local restaurant and stole property.
 
Burglary of a Habitation:
 
Aaron Paul Boutte, 27, of Vidor. A man broke into a residence and stole property.
 
Hank Sparky Thompson, 23, address unknown. A man broke into an Orange residence and stole property.
 
Aggravated Assault:
 
Robert David Ceasar, 20, of Orange. A man beat and stomped another man causing serious bodily injury.
 
Felony Escape:
 
Tonya Clarisse Brown, 27, of Orange. A woman who was arrested for a felony drug charge escaped from custody but was re-arrested a short time later.
 
Felony Assault:
 
Marissa Johnson, 40, of Orange. A woman assaulted a WO Police Officer. 
 
Felony Theft:
 
Charles Allen Cross, 73, of Beaumont. A man stole a large amount of money in a contractor scam from a West Orange resident following Rita.
 
Veronica Lee Broussard, 39, address unknown. A woman with a record as an habitual thief stole property and sold it.
