A power outage at Mauriceville Elementary School has caused telephone lines to be out of service, as well as portions of the campus to be without electricity this afternoon, April 3. Classes have been combined into areas of the campus that still have power and school is continuing throughout the rest of the afternoon except for the after school session called All Stars. Bus schedules will not be affected and Entergy is confident that power will be restored prior to the beginning of school on Friday morning, so classes will take place as usual.

Although there is no incoming phone service available to the campus, emergency calls may be directed to the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Central Office at 883-2232.
