RSVP for the next Senior Educational Excursion when Lamar State College-Orange travels to Crowley, Louisiana, to enjoy the hospitality and delicious cuisine of a fourth-generation Heritage Farm. 

      The Crystal Rice Heritage Farm is the destination for the upcoming trip on Tuesday, May 13. This attraction includes a full day of activities and a delicious Cajun buffet lunch. Travelers will have the opportunity to view antique cars in Salmon’s Garage and a woman’s treasures in the Francine Blue Rose Museum. Unlock the mysteries of rice and crawfish in the agri-tour, delivered by a fourth generation farmer. The trip will conclude with a visit to the country store for some unique shopping before returning home. 

      The fee is $75 and includes round-trip transportation, admission fees, a delicious lunch, snacks and a fun time on the bus. Registration may be paid in person with cash or check or by phone using a debit or credit card.
