Lamar State College-Port Arthur will award 94 associate degrees and 29 technical certificates to 123 graduates during the Spring Commencement at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 9, in the Carl Parker Multipurpose Center, 1800 Lakeshore Drive.

    Jefferson County Precinct 7 Justice of the Peace Brad Burnett is the commencement speaker.
    Graduation candidates must complete all necessary requirements before receiving a degree or certificate.

Orange: Jeffrey Neil Hamilton Jr. (commercial music – sound engineering); Laurel L. Daniels (drug/alcohol abuse counseling); Dana Conder Neely (nursing).
