I am in the mood for bread, so I have a couple for you.
First let me tell you if you are doing to make some Frosties you’ll need real milk and ice cream not diet stuff. It isn’t creamy enough unless you use the real deal.

• 2 cups yellow cornmeal
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon soda
• 1 cup milk
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup finely chopped onion
• 1/4 cup chopped pimento
• 2 finely chopped jalapeños canned peppers
• 1 cup whole kernel corn
• 4 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
• 2 tablespoons bacon dripping
• 1/2 lbs. grated cheese.

In a large bowl mix, corn meal, salt, sugar and soda. Add milk and eggs, mix well. Stir in onion, pimento, peppers, corn and bacon.. Beat vigorously for about one minute. Grease and 8x8x2 pan. Add 1/2 mixture to pan. Sprinkle with cheese and add remaining mixture.
Cook on 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Serve with ham or it is even good with barbecue.

Cheddar bread

2 envelopes of dry yeast
2 teaspoons sugar
2 cups warm water
5 cups flour
4 teaspoons salt
1 cup grated mild cheddar cheese

In a large bowl dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Add 2 1/2 cups flour and salt; beat until blended. Stir in cheese and enough flour to make a dough. Knead lightly on a floured board for about 10 minutes. Place in a large oiled bowl, cover and let rise one hour. Punch down and shape into 2 loves. Place in oiled loaf pans and let rise until doubled. Bake on 400 degrees for about 30 minutes.
Now that is something you can wrap your tongue around.
They are both Gooder’n Syrup. Von
