Dorothy Mae Wilson, 85, of Orange, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at The Medical center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 26, 2008 in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Anton Smikal and her brother, R. T. Gray. Burial will follow at the Kirbyville Cemetery in Kirbyville. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Born on January 11, 1923 in Kirbyville, Texas to Denny and Drucilla Irene (Biscamp) Gray, she was a longtime resident of the Orange area, she was a homemaker and a member of the Port Acres United Pentecostal Church in Port Acres. Throughout her life, Mrs. Wilson enjoyed cooking, working outside and she spent much time taking care of her family.

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Warren C. Wilson, her sisters, Louise Roach and Katherine Glawson and her brother, R. B. Gray; Those who will most cherish her memory are her daughter, Marie Wilson of Franklin, Louisiana; her son, James Wilson and his wife Lou of Orange and her brother, R. T. Gray of Dayton, Texas; seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Donald Melancon, Jr., Donald Melancon, III, Dillan Melancon, Andrew Smikal, Thomas Wilson, Joe East and Jody Gray.
