Celebrating their golden anniversary, Wanda and David Trumble met in high school (LCM) in 1956 and married on Aug. 1, 1958. They are being honored by their children at a celebration with family and friends, Aug. 1, 2008.

The Trumble’s are lifetime residents of Orange. Mr. Trumble retired after 31 years of working for the United States Postal Service and after 33 years is still employed by Claybar Funeral Home.

Mrs. Trumble worked for 23 years for West Cove, Orange, School District. The couple have five children, Tammie Vallery, Forrest Trumble, and Patrick Trumble, all of Orange, Chet Trumble of Lexington, Ky. and Peggy Hudelson of Oakdale, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

The couple are members of Calvary Baptist Church West Orange.
