Russell DeWayne Rumby, Jr., 32, of Klamath Falls, Oregon passed away Sunday, August 17, 2008 in Medford, Oregon.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 23, 2008 in the Barrow Cemetery in Fields, Louisiana with Reverend John Fortenberry, officiating. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Friday, August 22, 2008 at Dorman Funeral Home in Orange.

Mr. Rumby was born October 29, 1975 in Sulphur, Louisiana, he moved to Klamath Falls when he was 15 and he was a construction worker. Russell will be remembered as an extremely intelligent person, always on the honor roll, he learned to play the piano by ear and as a teenager he could answer most of the questions on “Jeopardy.” Russell also loved talking about great books and debating his philosophical ideas. His father loved to hear his laugh.
Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Russell Rumby, Sr. of Orange; mother, Teresa Melton of Vidor; sisters, Casie Clennon and her husband Devin of League City, Lee Ann Reyna of Vidor, Jamie Mato of Vidor, and Denae Mato of Las Vegas; grandparents, William and Beatrice Rumby, Leverne Simmons and Robert Branham also survive as well.
