The Pinehurst city administrators have made the decision to postpone the annual Labor Day Picnic. With the possible apporach to the area by Hurricane Gustav the decision was made a 11:00 A.M. that it would be best for all concerned to postpone the picnic until a later date.

“We have so many details to attend to for the picnic and so many good people have made committments to  the picnic that we met this morning and decided that it would be best to postpone the picnic until possibly early October. There are things like the food that needs to be prepared.  There are so many things that we have to do in advance,” said Dan Robertson, City Administrator. “Details about the rescheduling will be posted as they become available.”
