“Gift of Life” Program Orange Prostate Cancer Screening Rescheduled Screening
New Date: Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008 – 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
(Beaumont, Texas) – Thursday September 11, 2008 – Due to Hurricane Ike, the Julie Rogers “Gift of Life” Program is rescheduling the (Saturday, September 13, 2008) Prostate Cancer Screening Event in Orange to Saturday, October 18, 2008 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at the Lamar State College – Orange Student Service Center.
“We are very sorry for any inconvenience and especially to the men who have already been scheduled for a prostate cancer screening in Orange,” said Norma Sampson, “Gift of Life” Chief Executive Officer. “We want to assure everyone they will be screened on the alternate date of Saturday, October 18 and that our staff will contact them with further instructions.”
The screening date scheduled for Beaumont will continue as planned.
· September 20 at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, Beaumont.
The free screening is available to medically underserved Southeast Texas men and will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
