Deweyville man indicted on manslaughter charges
Manslaughter, aggravated robbery and drug charges topped Orange County grand jury indictments released Oct. 22. Individuals listed are from Orange unless otherwise indicated:
James Birdette Webb, 42, of Deweyville, was charged with intoxication manslaughter in an April incident. According to District Attorney John Kimbrough’s office, an intoxicated driver crashed his car into a trailer, resulting in the death of a female passenger.
Charged with aggravated robbery is Edwin Allyn Lee, 44, of Vinton La. A man reportedly stole goods from an Orange grocery store and threatened an employee.
Felony possession of controlled substance charges went to Troy Wilson Hebert, 45, of Vidor; and Steven Marcus Crew, 37. Felony DWI charges went to Daniel Ray Rombs, 54, of Dayton; and Glenda Dale Schlicher, 58.
Other charges include:
Unauthorized use of a vehicle: Johnny D. Pantalion, 42, of Vidor.
Felony forgery: Leslie Shawn Ryder, 34, of Vidor; Edward Joseph Deblanc, 28; Gary Wayne McClanahan, 31; and Donald Arthur Vaughn, 35, unknown address.
Securing execution of a document by deception: Laurie Beth Louvier, 27; Anna Lissa Returan, 37; and Jacqueline Linnae Abshire, 35.
Felony evading arrest or detention: Thomas Ray Atkins, 39.
Unlawful possession of a weapon on licensed premises: Susan Camille Greenawald, 49.
Burglary of a habitation: Wade Williams, 44, unknown address; and Barrett Dwayne Guidry, 44. Guidry is also charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Theft of a firearm: Stephen Layfette Tarter, 31, of Vidor.
Credit card abuse: Keith Alan Reynolds, 21.
