Little Cypress-Mauriceville named the 2008 Homecoming King and Queen at pre-game ceremonies on Friday evening at Bear Stadium. Seniors Howard Griffith and Roni Adams were named King and Queen. Howard is the son of Alicia Garcia and Floyd Gans. Roni’s parents are Clay and Kelly Adams. Other candidates for king were JJ Dubose; Stefan Leger; Gary Hooker; Lyndon Stephenson; and Jordan Walker. Those vying for queen were Taylor Thompson; Katy Harrell; Shelby Harmon; Carly Gauthier; and Allison Floyd.

Junior members of the court were Christine Sicktich and Taylor Pousson; Lindsey Karasik and Frank Fuller; and Madison Ham and Aceson Holmes. Sophomores on the court were Allison Walker and Zack Sonnier; Katy Labry and Hunter Gonzalez; and Magen Isaacs and Zack Blanchard. The freshman court was Lyndsey Windham and Kyle Herfurth; Jordan Parker and Jordan Harmon; and Peyton Burns and Preston Armstrong. 

Beaus and Sweethearts were also introduced during the ceremony. They are: Band, Caleb Anthony and Jacquelyn Patronella; Color Guard, Brett Heil and Krista Adams; Honey Bear, Ethan Sonnier and Colbi Romero; Cheerleader, Landon Woodard and Taryn Quinn. The Football Sweetheart is Kelly Simpson, who was escorted by football player Jacob Boaz.
