Suspicious fire finishes Ike damaged units
The City of Orange Fire Department responded to a house fire around 6:45, Sunday evening, in the 300 block of Dewey.
According to Orange Deputy Fire Chief Jerald Ziller, responding crews reported a three unit single story building with heavy fire through the roof on the west end.
The building had not been occupied for a long period of time and sustained damage from Hurricane Ike.
Fire crews brought the fire under control in 15 minutes.
No injuries were reported and the fire is considered suspicious because it was unoccupied and no utilities were connected.
