The weatherman only said flurries, but there was over two inches of snow deposited in Orangefield by 2 a.m.

They can’t get it right all the time, and some times that’s lucky for us!

School kids didn’t get a snow day, but they did get a two our delay to the start of classes which gave many of them a chance to play in the fluffy stuff before it melted.

Little snowmen and other creatures appeared on lawns everywhere while children battled it out with snowballs.

By noon, the only evidence left was in the shade.

It was almost a white Christmas!
