New members sought for kidzsing.club
Rehearsal of kidzsing.club’s next musical, “King of the Jungle,” scheduled to be performed in May has begun.
The group welcomes new members (K-6th grade) and meets from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursdays at Eagle Heights Church. Registration fee is $25 per member which covers the cost of T-shirt, rehearsal CD and snacks. They will continue to accept new members until March 5. ‘Kids Rock’ is this Saturday
Church on the Rock in Bridge City will host “Kids Rock” on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. for children in grades one through six. Similar to vacation Bible school, parents may attend with their kids or drop them off for a dinner getaway. This month the theme is “Trust.” For more information, call the church, 735-2720.
KC offers Lenten dinners
The Knights of Columbus in Bridge City are once again offering fried catfish dinners for the Lenten season. The meals will be offered 10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., Fridays through April 3 at the KC hall at 770 Ave. A next to St. Henry Catholic Church on Roundbunch. Dinners include fried catfish, fries, coleslaw and hush puppies for $7.00.
Delivery is available for orders of 10 or more. Please call in orders Thursday evening or early Fridy by 9 a.m. at 735-4289 or 735-5725.
Lenten dinners available at St. Therese
Fish dinners will be available 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Fridays during Lent, beginning this week at St. Therese Catholic Church in Orange. For $7.00, the meal includes fried fish, green beans, potato salad, bread and cake.

Poland returns to Orange for presentation
Former Orange resident, Mrs. Shirley Gunstream Poland will speak at North Orange Baptist Church. Building healthy relationships will be the subject at 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, in the chapel at 4775 N. 16th Street. The chapel is located in the Christian Life Center building located to the north of the main building.
Mrs. Poland says, “God has given me a message of two simple truths by which we – teens as well as adults – can change American society. It starts with teaching teens about healthy relationships.”
