For the sixth year in a row, West Orange -Stark Middle School students earning their Accelerated Reader goal for the fourth six weeks were able to attend a day at the ball park Thursday.

One hundred and two students achieved their goal and attended a West Orange-Stark High School Lady Mustang softball game and WO-S High varsity boys baseball team. 

The students also enjoyed lunch at the softball field concession stand.

“We had a wonderful day. The weather was great and the kids enjoyed the good food at the concession stands. Rewarding students for reading good books and earning AR points is a highlight for me because reading is such an important part of education,” sixth grade reading teacher Annely Domas said.
