Six baby ducks were the guests of Anderson Elementary students. All 700+ Anderson students said hello to the small animals during the school day last week.

The baby ducks belong to Physical Education Instructor Patricia Lee.
Lee and her husband are raising the ducks and once grown, they will live at a family member’s pond.

“I brought them to school because a lot of the kids have never seen baby ducks and kindergarten is studying baby animals. Once the word spread that the ducks were on campus, all the students were able to take advantage of this teachable moment,” Lee said.
