Brenda Barron Bryant, 61, of Los Alamos, N.M., passed away Monday, March 30, 2009.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the West Orange-Stark Junior High School Gym on Green Avenue in Orange. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Bridge City.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange.
Born Dec. 9, 1947 in Orange, she was a high school cheerleader and homecoming queen. She always loved working with children and worked at the Christian School of Kingwood. She then worked as an assistant land manager for Goodrich Operating and most recently worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

She was preceded in death by her father; Charley Barron.
Those left to cherish her memory are her mother; Catherine Barron, husband; Bill Bryant; Sons; Matthew Barrett, and Eric Bryant; brother; Charles Barron Jr. sister; Linda Barron Rhalfs, son and daughter-in-law; Paul and Lindsey Bryant, grandchildren; Courtney, Tyler and Alyssa Bryant.
