Easter egg hunts announced
Easter egg hunts this week in the Orange County area include:
The public is invited to an Easter Egg Hunt 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 11 at the First Baptist Church of Orangefield, Farm Road 105. Corn dogs and drinks will be provided.

Horse rides, crafts, cookie decorating and face-painting will be featured at the Cowboy Church of Orange’s second annual Easter egg hunt, at 1 p.m. Easter Sunday at the church on Lane of the Oaks off of Texas 62. The church’s Easter service will begin at 7:15 a.m. at 673 Farm Road 1078. For more information, call Pastor Dale Lee at 718-0269.
City of Orange
Balloons, fire engines and pictures with the Easter bunny will highlight the city of Orange’s annual Easter egg hunt will be on Good Friday at the Simmons Drive Boat Ramp. Gate time is 9 a.m. to noon and the hunt begins at 10 a.m. The three age categories are 0-2, 3-5 and 6-8. Other features include a moon walk and super slide. Admission and all activities are free. Food, a moon walk and super slide will highlight Liberty Baptist Church’s “Eggstravaganza,” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday around the covered pavilion at the Bridge City Community Center. Age appropriate egg scramble prizes will be awarded. For more information, call 735-6739.
Easter egg hunt scheduled
The Orange Boating Club will be hosting their annual Easter egg hunt, starting at noon, Saturday, April 11. The event is for members and invited guests. Food and drinks will be provided along with plenty of candy from the Easter bunny.
Easter Egg Hunt
New Anointing Church will host an Egg Hunt from 2 – 4 p.m., Saturday, April 11, for children ages 2 to 10 years old located at 10681 N. Hwy 87, Orange.
Crafts, and games will also be offered. Bring your own baskets.

Eagle Heights hosts ‘Eggstravaganza’
Eagle Heights Church, 11815 Interstate 10, will host an Easter fun day 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 11. There will be kite flying, crafts, games, puppet show, train rides and an egg hunt. Participants should bring Easter baskets. Call 745-0050.
Easter ‘Egg-stravaganza’ hosted
First Baptist Church-Orange will host the Easter Egg-stravaganza 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday, April 11 at the FBC-O Sports Complex on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive (Near the Little Cypress-Mauriceville bus barn. There will be crafts, games, bounce houses, egg hunt and special prizes including a Nintendo Wii. The public is invited.
