Julia Frances Morrison, 78, of Orange passed away Thursday, April 9, 2009 at the Pine Arbor Healthcare Center in Silsbee.  Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 14 in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange.  Officiating will be the Rev. Jeff Bell.  A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. 

Born on Jan. 31, 1931 in Orange, to Robert Lee Johnston Sr. and Ophelia (Bellair) Johnston, she was a lifelong resident of the Orange area. She was a homemaker and a member of Cove Baptist Church in Orange where she taught Sunday school and vacation Bible school.  Previously, she worked with Project Read at the Orange Public Library.  

Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Lee Johnston Jr.; husband, Carl Douglas Morrison; and daughter, Carolyn Elaine Williams.  

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Carol Williams and husband Charles; sons, John Dewey Morrison, Stanley Ray Morrison, Douglas Wayne Morrison and wife Flo and Donald Lynn Morrison; Seven grandchildren, Rachel Lynn Williams, Belinda Anne Williams, Charles Lee Williams, Heather Lynn Duplantis, Michelle Lee Morrison, Amanda Beth Morrison and Peter John Cuadrado III and wife Babette; and two great-granddaughters, Victoria Ann Duplantis and Susannah Nicole Williams.
