Carl Lynn Albarado, 58, of Orange, passed away Monday, May 11, 2009, in his residence.

A gathering of remembrance will be set later. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home.

Born on Sept. 4, 1950 in Port Arthur to Adam Albarado and Alverta Bell (Rowe) Albarado, he had lived in the Orange area for the last 4-and-a-half years, had previously resided in Nederland, worked as a mobile disc jockey and singer and was a veteran of the Navy. Carl enjoyed playing the guitar, camping, being in the outdoors and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and he was of the Baptist faith.

Preceded in death by his father and his brothers, George Whaley and A.J. Albarado, those who will most cherish his memory are his wife, Nancy Albarado of Orange; his mother, Alverta Albarado of Orange; his son, Carl Lynn Albarado Jr.; his step-daughters, Khristie Belaire and her husband Art of Groves, Stacy LaBleu and her husband Dale Sullivan Jr. of Bridge City and Kimberly McFatter and her husband Chris Simon of Groves; brother, Bobby Whaley of Port Arthur and his grandchildren, Christian Adams, Alexis LeBleu, Elizabeth LaBleu, Bryton Sullivan, Colby Johnson, Cheyenne Belaire, Gabriele Simon and Katelyn Simon.
