Dena Rene Harris, 42, of West Orange, a loving mother and wife, lost her battle to cancer on Saturday, May 23, 2009 surrounded by her loving family.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, at Dorman Funeral Home in Orange. A graveside service will follow at Morse Cemetery in Buna at 1 p.m.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.
Born on March 22, 1967, daughter of John and Nelda LeJeune of Forest Heights. She had lived in the Orange area for 35 years and graduated from Little Cypress High School in 1986.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roy and Nell Carpenter and Joseph and Lelia LeJeune.
Harris is survived by parents; her husband, Lloyd Wayne Harris of West Orange; step-daughter, Amanda Harris of Town Bluff; son, Jasper Harris of West Orange; sisters, Angie Jones of Bridge City, Jessica Bergeron and her husband Lenics of Mauriceville, Stacey Jarrell and her husband Troy of Athens Ala.; brother, Stephen LeJeune and his wife Leah of Bridge City and numerous nieces and nephews. 
Honoring Dena as pallbearers are Dale Hilgemeier, Kevin Hilgemeier, Thomas Harris, David Ortolon, Mathew Ortolon and James McKay.
