Meinrad Fillop, 61, of Orange, died May 18, 2009.
Funeral services were Saturday in Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange.

Meinrad was born on Aug. 15, 1947, in Kitzbühel, Austria, to John Peter and Christina (Wolenofer) Fillop. He was a director of maintenance-physical plant for Lamar State College-Orange since 1985. He also served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Peter Fillop and sister Blanche Fillop.

Survivors include his mother, Christina Fillop; former spouse, Judy Fillop-McClendon; daughters, Shelly Sullivan and her husband Luke, Sally Hamilton-Shellhammer and her husband Brady; grandchildren, Tanner and Kendall Sullivan, and Macy and Madelyn Hamilton; brothers, John, Frank, Steve, Tony, and Chris Fillop; sisters, Ulanda and Anna Fillop, Rita Nugent, and Julie Cope.

Honorary Pallbearers were his brothers and Lamar State College-Orange family.
