Donnie was born in Orange on Nov. 3, 1940 and lived a very full life; always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that was in need. He was a member of Cove Baptist Church and was part of its original construction as a teenager. He worked for Levingston Ship Building for 19 years and retired from Houston Ship Repair in 2003. In retirement, he enjoyed fixing things around his and everyone else’s home, entertaining with stories about his youth, and spending time with his fishing buddy, grandson Hunter Cole Wolfford, who was his pride and joy.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Darrell L. Wolfford, Dennis Wolfford, Michael Wolfford, Bobby Wolfford, David Abrego, and Vince Abrego. Honorary Pallbearer will be Robert Smith.

His family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations should be made to The Cove Baptist Church Rebuilding Fund.
