Lady Bobcats defeated Lady Cards Friday night but the event was really focused on the cancer awareness theme with pamphlets and roses to those who lost a family member or survived cancer.

Orangefield is now 3-0 in district after defeating Bridge City in the Pink Out. The Lady Cards are 2-1 in district.

Lady Cats took the first two games 25-15 and 25-16, but the Lady Cards came back taking game three 25-22, forcing a fourth game which gave the Cats the series with a score of 25-15.

According to Amy Duhon, assistant volleyball coach, Aimee Scales was the top leader with 11 kills and 4 blocks. Ashton Wagner racked up 7 kills. Ashlyn Lopez made 4 kills and 2 blocks, while Kaitlynn Henson had 4 kills, 1 block and 1 ace. Rylie Granger had a whopping17 assists, with 1 kill and 2 aces. Ashlee Broussard finished the night with 5 assists.
