Mrs. Brandy Hinson’s kindergarten class joined other students from Community Christian School, Friday, at Eagle Heights Church’s pumpkin patch.

“We love the pumpkin patch,” said Mrs. Hinson.

Students were allowed to pick a small pumpkin to bring back to school after a picnic lunch. The lunch had to be quickly moved inside the church when it started to rain.

The pumpkins will be used in next week’s lesson plan.

“We’re going to weigh them and look inside them,” said Mrs. Hinson. “Then we’re going to watch them decompose in an air tight container.”
