Some of the items expect to be available at the Orange Farmers’ Market on Oct. 17 include:  black eyed peas and purple hull peas (fresh or already blanched and frozen), eggplant, yellow squash, collard greens, cucumbers, okra, bell peppers, sweet potatoes, satsumas, lemons, whole and cracked pecans, whole peanuts, almonds, and walnuts, jams and jellies, pickled vegetables, hot sauces, blueberry juice, cookies (Oatmeal Raisin Walnut and Midnight Chocolate), muffins (Blueberry and Bran), and more, depending on what any new vendors may have.

Any gardeners who have more produce than they can handle, show up with it Saturday morning in front of Beall’s on MacArthur Drive in Orange, bring your own table and be set up by 7 a.m.  New vendors are always welcome, and there is no fee.
