The Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates Kolby Flowers as winner of the Student of the Month Program.

A senior at Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School, he is president of the student council, editor for the Cypress Log yearbook, print editor for the Bear Facts Newspaper and a three-year LC-M student recipient/two-year UIL Academic Regional Qualifier. Kolby is also involved with the Bear Stage Players and on the media crew for Friday night football, and donates his time to community service activities.

Teachers and staff alike describe him as a dynamic leader, passionate about scholastics and eager to go the extra mile to see others succeed as well as himself.

Flowers was recognized by Rose Simar, chairwoman of the GOACC Education Committee and other members of the chamber.

He received gifts from chamber members.
