Kenesaw Landis Bernsen Jr., 58 of Beaumont, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009 at Harbor Hospice House. His cremation is being overseen by Comeaux’s Community Funeral Chapel. A celebration of Kenesaw’s life will be held on the beach right out of High Island on Dec. 5. Everyone that knew him is welcome to come. It will begin at 10 a.m.; bring stories, pictures and memories.

Born in Beaumont, Ken graduated from Monsignor Kelly High School and Lamar University, where he received his Masters Degree in Psychology. He was an LPC in Mississippi and Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Liddle-Bernsen; mother, Joyce Bernsen; daughter, Kara LeeAnne Concha and husband Matt Concha of Ohio; and grandchildren, Karmah, Kade, and Koehn Concha; his two sisters, KC Cammareri and Michele Hall both of Beaumont; and three brothers, Mike Bernsen of Columbus, Miss., Kelly and Dutch Bernsen of Beaumont.  

Kenesaw’s family and friends would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Harbor Hospice House for all their care and concerns for Kenesaw. We send them many blessings.
