Dorothy Jeannette Schisler, 67, of Orange, died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009 at Baptist Hospital in Orange. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 29, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to the service time at the funeral home.

Born Sept. 30, 1942, in Howard County, Md.; Dorothy was the daughter of Phillip and Helen (Kaulfus) Green. She never met a stranger and was a friend to all.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Helen Green; twin brother, James Green; and brothers, Charles Holbrook, and Bob Holbrook.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Charles R. Schisler; son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Jane Schisler of Hanover, Pa.; daughter, Charlene Stockton; daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Bryan Pagel, of Mauriceville; son, Will Schisler of Orange; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Adam Schisler, Roland Schisler, Chuck Holbrook, Derek Pagel, Alan Green, and William Schisler.
