Christopher L. Strother, 26, of Vidor died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. on Monday, at the funeral home.

He was a lifelong resident of Vidor, and was a boilermaker with J V Industrial.

Christopher is survived by his wife, Chrissie Strother of Orangefield; daughters, Chrislyn Daisy Strother, Catie Leigh Strother, and Cassidie Denice Burleson, all of Orangefield; parents, Vernon and Thelma Strother of Vidor; brothers, Norman Smith of Vidor, Brian Strother and wife, Jennifer of Sacramento, Calif., Jeffrey Strother and wife, Heather of Vidor; brother-in-law, Chad Chambless of Orangefield; sisters, Elizabeth Hewette of New Waverly, Stephanie Porter of Baytown, Marlesa Perrio of Beaumont, and Denice Jackson of San Augustine; sister-in-laws, Shandra Chambless, Destiny Lebouf; and mother-in-law, Cathy Chambless all of Orangefield; father-in-law Clyde Chambless; and twenty-seven nieces and nephews.
