The Bridge City Strutters traveled to New York City and learned from master dance teachers at Alvin Ailey and Broadway Dance Center.  Their educational trip included tours and sights such as The Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Empire State Building, Radio City Music Hall, Wall Street, Chinatown, Little Italy, Trump Tower, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, Ground Zero, St. Patrick’s, Fifth Avenue, and more.  

The Strutters attended a Broadway show, Wicked, at Gershwin Theater, and several small groups attended other shows throughout the four-day trip.  

On their last day in New York , the Strutters and their chaperones arrived at the ABC Studio for the taping of Good Morning America where they were seen by millions of viewers.

Strutter Escorts included Sawyer Hogan, Tyler Landrum, and Matthew Wappler.
