Tuesday’s loss against Silsbee did not affect the Lady Bobcat’s district standing as they had cinched 2nd place Friday after losing to Hardin Jefferson who claimed 1st.

Playoff opponents for the 3A Conference had not been released by press time. The bi-district round will be fought Feb. 15-16, with the area round scheduled for Feb. 18-20. Quaterfinals are Feb. 22-23 with semifinals Feb. 26 and Regional finals on the 27th.

Orangefield went down against Silsbee by 10 points Tuesday with a score of 34-44 in the final game of district play.

Orangefield is now 21-10 overall and 7-3 in District Play, finishing 2nd Place in District.

Silsbee is now 16-15 and 6-4 in District Play,

Orangefield’s JV girls team defeated Silsbee 34-31, finishing district 9-1.
