Mr. Clint Bass, 83, of Vidor passed away on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 16 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with the Rev. Chris Dubose officiating. Burial will follow at Doyle Cemetery in Starks, La. 

He was a native of Starks, La., born on April 29, 1926 to parents Jerry Bass and Mary (Thompson) Bass. He served his country in the Army during World War II as a tank destroyer. He retired from Brown Tool in 1988 where he worked as an oil field worker. He enjoyed going fishing, hunting and he was one, great, story teller.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Irene Perkins, LaVerne Meyer; brothers, Thurman Sheffield, Almond Bass, Prentise Bass.

He is survived by his brother, Ray Bass and his wife, Carrie of Starks; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 15, 2010 from 5 until 9 pm at Dorman Funeral Home.
