Jerry Lee Cormier, 52, of Orange, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2010 in Port Arthur.  A memorial service to remember his life was held Saturday, March 13 at the Community Church in Orange. 
Born on Nov. 22, 1957 in Orange, to parents, Josephine (Smith) Cormier and Jack Cormier Jr. He was a lifelong resident of Orange. A devoted father, he often put others before himself and enjoyed riding motorcycles. 

Jerry is preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Smith Alford; brother, Gary Cormier and his wife, Tracie Peveto Cormier. 

Those who will cherish his memory are his father, Jack Cormier Jr. of Orange; daughters, Crystal Cormier and Jerrica Cormier both of Orange; sons, Jerry Lee Cormier Jr. and wife, Jerri Nicole of Orange, David Ryan Cormier and Kaydon Cormier both of Orange; his fiancée, Rochelle Marie Ware of Orange; his stepdaughters, Lacy Dupre, Shasta Nicole Stewart and Stormi Sheree LeBeouf  all of Orange; stepson, Lane Dupre; sisters, Barbara Cormier of Orange, Mary Girouard and husband, Doug of Orange and Peggy Prejean of Lumberton; his brothers, James Cormier and wife Elizabeth of Orangefield and Roger Cormier of Orange; his grandchildren, Jordan and Aric Cormier, La’Riya Nelson, Lexxie, Izzabella and Slaytter Cormier, Vaydon and Marqus Abrego, Kiley Dupre and Gabriel Stewart.
