Mr. Leroy Guillory, 84, of Deweyville passed away on Friday, April 09, 2010 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth surrounded by his loving family. A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 11 at Dorman Funeral Home. Burial was at Deweyville Cemetery. 

He was a native of Dequincy, La.; born on Feb. 16, 1926 to parents, Thad Guillory and Lillian Guillory. He served his country during World War II in the Army Air Force. He retired from DuPont after forty plus years as a mechanic. He had lived 64 years in the Orange area and was a member of First Christian Church of Orange. He loved the outdoors: hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, Thad and Lillian Guillory; wife, Hazel Ruth Guillory; and son-in-law, Robert Waller.

His is survived by his daughters, Linda Sue Holt and husband, Thomas of Mt. Pleasant, Tenn., Brenda Waller of Pasadena; sons, Roy Lee Guillory and wife, Linda of Deweyville, Jay Thomas Guillory and wife, Monika of Valrico, Fla., Dennis Leon Guillory of Orange, Guy Guillory and wife, Debbie of Deweyville; sisters, Grace Hershey of Orange, Jessie Gormas of Cincinnati, Ohio, Veola Forse and Betty Sheppard, both of Buna; brother, Andrew Guillory of Chico, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
