Al Blake, 74, of Hemphill died Friday, April 9, 2010, at his daughter’s home. Funeral services were Monday morning, April 12, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating was the Rev. Jeff Bell. Burial was at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.
Al was born in Salem, Oregon on April 27, 1935. He served in the Army in the Korean War and was a retired construction supervisor.

He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Dorman Blake of Hemphill; daughter, Starla Blake of San Antonio; sons, Steven and Jeff Blake; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Kathie Dorman of Orange; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Mike Pachuca of Orange; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Walker, Bill Sims, Willard LeBlanc, Jimmy Kirkpatrick, and Josh Sims. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Pachuca and Stan Marshall.
