Mary Patricia Kennedy Hatcher, 84, of Orange died Saturday, May 15, 2010, at her home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 19 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange. Officiating will be the Rev. Tom Phelan. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating the rosary will be Deacon Harvey Dubois.

Born in Sarasota, Fla. on July 27, 1925, Mary was the daughter of Goldie (Myrick) and John Lawrence Kennedy. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters. Mary retired from DuPont after 44 and a half years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sharon Kennedy; and brother, James Kennedy.

Mary is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Harry “Kit” Foreman of Orange; son and daughter-in-law, Andrew Jack and Juliet Hatcher of Ft. Worth; grandchildren, Shannon Moreland and husband, Steve, Harry Lee “Bubba” Foreman, Kyle Foreman, Kelly Wysong and husband, Mike, Andy Hatcher and wife, Tanya, Paula Boswell and husband, Jimmy, David Hatcher; 18 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, John L. Kennedy and wife, Wanda, Jacqueline Ramsey and husband, Wayne, Dr. William Kennedy and wife, Theresa, Delores Bird and husband, Gerald, and Jane Tywater and husband Ken.

Serving as pallbearers will be Harry “Bubba” Foreman, Kyle Foreman, Steve Moreland, Andy Hatcher, David Hatcher, and Mike Wysong.
