Elysha A. Halsch, 50, passed away May 16, 2010 following a tragic accident in Austin. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 22  in the chapel at Forest Park East Funeral Home.

She was born May 28, 1959 and was a 1978 graduate of J. F. Dobie High School. She resided in the South Belt area for more than 30 years. Elysha was a registered nurse at Texas Children’s Hospital for the past 20 years. During the past six years, she also traveled on medical mission trips to third world countries to help those in need, selflessly using her vacation time.

Elysha is survived by her husband, Doug Halsch; daughter, Joy Dubose-Simonton; sons, Michael and Austin Sosebee; father of her children, Donald Sosebee; mother, Carolyn Williams; father, Robert Williams; stepdaughter, Stacey Halsch; stepson, Alec Halsch; brother, Paul Williams; two grandchildren, Christian and Adley; niece, Sabrina Williams and many other relatives, co-workers and friends.
