Lemuel R. McMillon Sr., 72, of Pinehurst passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2010 in Jasper. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 26  at Dorman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Autumn Oak Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was a native of Camp Worth, Texas; born on Jan. 8, 1938 to parents Jesse McMillon and Ima Mae (Gray) McMillon. He served his country in the Marine Corps. Lemmie was employed at FINA in the lab as a waste water analyst, retiring in 2000. He had lived 60 plus years in Orange and was a member of St. John United Methodist Church. He loved to travel and was a great bowler.

He is preceded is death by his parents; son, Lemuel “Randy” McMillon Jr.; granddaughter, Alicia McMillon; sisters, Joyce Vrooman and Martha Lavelle Wagner.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Garrison) McMillon of Orange; granddaughter, Penny Davis and husband, Curtis of Orange; sister, Mary B. Ballard and husband, Kenneth of Orange; brother, William Glenn McMillon and Theresa of Orange; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Frances and Forest Read of Jasper; ex-daughter-in-law, Tana McMillon Walters of Port Arthur and numerous nieces and nephews.
