Leon T. Robles 79, of Beaumont died Monday, May 31, 2010 at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 4, in Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow in Williamson Cemetery.

A native of Los Angeles, he had lived in Beaumont for 45 years and was a sales representative with Standard Coffee. He served his country in the Navy during the Korean War. Leon was a bowling league member for more than 50 years, and he volunteered as a driver at the Beaumont VA Center where he made many great friends.

Leon was preceded in death by his daughter Vesta Ann Robles.

He is survived by his sons Joseph Robles and wife Lenora of Beaumont, daughters Carol Stephenson and husband Keith of Vidor, and Audrey Cochran of Arizona, 10 grandchildren: Katie Robles, Hailey Robles both of Vidor, Stacie Robles, of Winnie, Travis Robles of Beaumont, Jamen Stephenson of Nacogdoches, Philip Stephenson of Logan, Utah; Matthew Stephenson of Vidor, Jerrica Stephenson of Beaumont, Vesta Aery of Vidor, Brandon Cessna, and Ryan Stach, and eight great-grandchildren: Aaron Aery, Olivia Aery, Kason Robles, Kenley Robles, Ryleigh Stephenson, Nolan Stephenson, Owen Stephenson and Anthony Cessna. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Odyssey Hospice or Veterans Administration office.
