Louis Kenneth Reina, 76, died Sunday, June 13, 2010 at Baptist Orange Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 16 at Dorman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park. A visitation will be held  from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Born in Jersey City, N. J. on July 27, 1933 Lou was the son of John and Jean Reina.  At age 17, he joined the Air Force and served during the Korean War.  While in the service, he won the World Wide Air Force Baseball Championship in 1955 while stationed in Lake Charles. Lou retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber plant after 41 years of service.

Lou is survived by daughters, Vicki Jowers and husband, Chris of Vinton, La, Lisa Hamerly and husband, Danny of Orange; son, Gordon Reina and wife, Krista of Austin; sister, Anne Marie Millevoi of Margate, Fla.; and brother, Kevin Kennedy of New York, N.Y.  Also surviving Lou are his three grandchildren, Jessica Burch and husband, Brent, Jared Reina, and Makenzi Reina; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brent Burch, Chris Jowers, Danny Hamerly, Jared Reina, John Daigle, Chris Fuselier and Ricky Fuselier.
