The Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce has named Ida Schossow as president/CEO of the organization. She succeeds Orange business woman Sabrina Grey. Schossow’s first day on the job will be Monday, Aug. 23.

A lifelong Orange County resident, Schossow brings with her more than 30 years of management experience in the banking industry. Schossow has been an active community volunteer, serving on the boards of the Orange County American Red Cross, Orange Camp Fire Council and the Heart Springs Methodist Foundation.
Schossow is a past chairman of the Orange chamber board where she has served more than 10 years as a member.

Present chairman of the board David Jones said, “Ida’s past work experience and community involvement will be a tremendous asset as she works to lead the chamber in its mission to promote an environment conducive to business growth, to pursue economic development, and enhance the quality of life in the greater Orange area by providing resources, leadership, and support to our members.”

A reception will be planned for Schossow. Details will be announced on the chamber’s Web site:
