Jack Welch, 77, of Vidor died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 30 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.

A native of Henderson, he has lived in Vidor for 40 years and was a retired pipefitter with Local # 195 after 40 years of faithful service. Jack served his country in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War. 

Jack was preceded in death by his sons, Paul A. Wilhelm Jr., and John W. Welch Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Alley Vee Welch; sons and daughters-in-law, Walter and Brenda Wilhelm , Cliftonand Rebecca Wilhelm, and Alfred and Mary Wilhelm, all of Vidor; daughters and son-in-law, Susie and Chuck Copeland, and Elizabeth Welch, all of Orange; daughter-in-law, Moye Wilhelm of Vidor; brother and sister-in-law Clyde and Wanda Beth Welch, of Deweyville; sisters, Betty Sue Langley of Deweyville, Jessie Ferris and husband, Ray of Mauriceville, and Carolyn Broussard of Orange; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
