This past weekend senior, Brandon Burns raced over extreme hills and in sweltering heat to capture a 4th place title out of 80 runners at the Jasper meet. Brandon achieved a personal record time of 18:20 for the three mile course.

The junior high traveled to Nederland where Matthew Rainey placed 12th and Ethan Beard placed 17th out of a field of 53.

At their first meet at Claiborne Park, relay team Matthew and Jacob Rainey nabbed a top ten spot with 7th place medals. The following week 7th grader, Ethan Beard placed 17th with a time of 14:23.

The entire team has been working hard to lower their times each week. They are about half-way through the season with about four meets to go.
