OPD offers information on scam calls
Today, the City of Orange Police Department received several complaints concerning a phone recording identifying Orange Savings Bank as the caller. The recording states that there is a problem with your account and continues to ask for personal information including your account and pin numbers.
Contact was made with a representative of Orange Savings Bank who advised that the recording is a scam.
Information from OPD Capt. W.A.
Robinson stated, “Orange Savings Bank stated that they never call their customers and ask for any personal information. Orange Savings Bank further request that you hang up immediately and notify them with any concerns.”
