Melba Florine Guillory, 71, of Pinehurst, passed away Thursday, Sept. 30 at her residence.

Services to remember her life were held Monday, Oct. 4 in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange. The Rev. Bob Simmons, pastor of the Maranatha Christian Center in Orange officiated the service. Interment will follow services in Autumn Oaks Memorial Park in the McLewis community of Orange.

Born on March 4, 1939 in Cameron, Louisiana to her parents, Ulysse Naquin and Lillie Mae (Richard) Naquin, she was a longtime resident of Orange, she had previously lived in Sulphur, Louisiana, was a member of the Maranatha Christian Center in Orange and she was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Terry Wright; her husband, John Guillory; her brothers, Jerry Naquin and Clifton Naquin and her sisters, Brenda Leboeuf and Judy Herrin.

Those who will mourn her passing yet cherish her memory are her sons, Randy Wright and wife, Jennifer of Orangefield and Larry Wright of Orange; her daughter-in-law, Dawn Wright of Orange; her sisters, Maxine Fletcher and husband, George of Hartburg, JoAnn Lozano and husband, Ben of Orange and Henrietta Fletcher and husband, O.C. of Kirbyville; her brother, Cecil Naquin of Vinton; eleven Grandchildren, 33 Great Grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.
