The West Orange-Stark Mustang ran wild in a 63-0 district opener against the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns. It was just all Mustangs all night long as the ‘Stangs begin a stampede to reclaiming the Dist. 21-3A crown.

Standing in their way is the Bridge City Cardinals. Big Red took out their first district opponent Hardin Jefferson nearly as bad. Cardinals 42, Hawks 0.

The Orangefeild Bobcats put up a valaint fight against the Silsbee Tigers. The Bobcats threatened to score in the final seconds but it wasn’t to be. Silsbee claimed the contest 38-34.

The Vidor Pirates claimed a Dist. 20-4A win against Ozen, 46-35, at Pirate Stadium. Concrats to Coach Jeff Mathews and staff.

The Little Cypress Mauriceville Bears were undefeated until Friday. The Central Jaguars snapped a Battlin’ Bear five game winning streak 37-28.
